Mehmet Çetin Bilgin is a yacht captain from Bodrum, born into a family of Cretan seafarers. His passion for the sea has been a lifelong journey, turning childhood dreams into a profession. He started sailing at Bodrumspor Sailing Club, competing in Optimist, Laser, and 420 classes. After earning a degree in Tourism, he worked aboard his father’s Bodrum gulet and later became a captain. With years of experience in the Aegean and Mediterranean, he has explored many unique destinations, including the Greek islands and the Bodrum Cup route. Beyond being a captain, he is also an experienced sailing instructor, passionate about teaching and sharing his knowledge. He embraces an active lifestyle with a strong passion for skiing, snowboarding, and travel. Being a yacht captain has always been his dream, and he feels incredibly fortunate to live this passion every day.

D E C K H A N D
Buğra Ergül has been working in the maritime industry since 2012. He graduated from Trabzon Sürmene Maritime Vocational High School, specializing in Marine Machinery, and later earned a degree from MSKÜ Bodrum Maritime Vocational School. Since 2018, he has been residing in Bodrum and working in the yachting industry. He completed a six-month Erasmus Plus maritime training in Portugal. As a RIB Master, he worked on yachts over 30 meters in Croatia, Italy, and Greece, focusing on passenger transport, maneuvering, and maintenance. In Sweden and Denmark, he managed a 25-meter private yacht as the sole crew member. Since 2019, he has led maritime transfers and operations for Bodrum Cup and Tırhandil Cup with an eight-person team, ensuring smooth logistics and yacht management.
